Yup, the DT880s are mighty nice cans... esp the 600ohm variant, tho that needs a desktop amp.   Great sound and outclass many more expensive phones.
W1000x is also gorgeous, but I recall while the mid is quite forward it's trebles also sparkles and may like a less bright source.  But it's been a while since I heard it so I might be off....

No you are right, but I've modded the crud out of mine so It's like the Dt 880 but more intiamite slighty laid back but still gorgeous woody mids and sparkly treble. I find it's really magical out of a good solid state,

and yea that is correct, I have the 600 ohm verison. I am going to be amping then Balanced with a iBasso PB1... so trust me xD I've got the power issue COVERD lol [and thankfully my Dt 880 600 ohms are fully balanced] got my iBasso pb1 and the converter connector as well!

I hope you are not already sick of unboxing photos :)

DHL delivers.

Inside a very plain box.

Not yet.

Still not there.

Aaaah, come on are you kidding me?

At last. The box looks so high class. When I remember how they sent the iBasso D10 back then. It was in a small, plain, white cardbord box.

I did not expect this level of quality. iBasso did a great work. Perfect craftmansship.

The rest.

This is how it compares to the MA9

So far it seems to handle FLAC-tags very good.

In combination with the ESW11LTD.

As I said, I am really impressed with this player. The quality is high. It is small. The MA9 looks and feels like a monolith. The biggest plus for me is that is able to handle the FLAC-tags. Still browsing through the library and there was no problem till now. Also I tag my files like Monk would do.

Indeed, one could compare it to a BMW, like I think someone did before in connection with another topic.

Haha, sooooo... looks and sounds great but might need to be taken into the shop a few times before it's juuuust right?

It is only for those who suffered in the first batch.

:frowning2: you're killing me.
If the Konami code isn't sacred then I don't know what is.

After reading opinions about sound it almost instantly came to me, that DX50 will be great match with my Heir Audio 8.A, and other, not so bright and detail oriented earphones. Can't wait, just recieved tracking number.
