I haven't got a dx50 yet. Just following the comments from the owners here on head fi and, so far, everybody seems to be happy with the SQ.
.......however: am I the only one to think why on earth at iBasso's they couldn't come up with a better or more "elegant" or "integrated" solution than just print VOL, Hold....etc on the screen?

pretty sure that's just the plastic sheet protecting the screen that came with it out of the box...

That is just a screen cover that comes with the unit....................there is a screen protector in the box.

It's is quite a neat idea that iBasso came up with !!!

I don't think I'm going to be able to wait much longer before I order.

It wasn't meant to be this way. The photos are killing me.

The build is fantastic, the OTG feature works; I just tried multi card reader (with 8gb samsung micro sd) with locally available purple(!) otg cable, it works flawlessly! And ALAC works!

Very impressed with this player. Sound is FANTASTIC.

May I know the amp in the photo?
Does it improve the sound of DX50 significantly?

I'm curious about the Mad Dogs - how do they sound with the ALO+DX50? (I think it's an ALO, not sure of the model)
