How about:

Early Christmas shopping.

I am going to sell another gear for it and then by then she won't remember.

It's present for you and make sure it'll be ready when Xmas comes around: danger with this is you might loose the dap to your wife.

Tell her the plain truth: I am addicted to electronics, honey please help me cope with it. Lol

I am running out of ideas in any events, feel for you.

  anyone with experience of how good/bad a pairing dx50 w/ sennheiser HD 25-II is? i think the 25's are 70 Ω

It's a pretty good pairing if you ask me, i'd say it's my favorite pairing so far, along with the TH-600 and the RE-262. It doesn't have any problems with power, since the HD25 are significantly easy to power, i use it mainly with mid-gain, though in low-gain doesn't sound bad either.

I did the update and like some of you I had problems with the update process. I got 3 times the iBasso home page and had to turn it off and on, with no success. At the end had to do a hard reset (Power button + Volume button) From there it went smooth and no trouble at all.
Now is playing and I like the changes, the scroll bar ist amazing, the sd card was read very fast (no hanging no more) and all my covert art ist now showing. Burn in is done and this firmware update make the player the best one. Well done iBasso

As far as I am aware the DX50 shoudn't have any problems with the Senns.

Has anybody used the HE-400 with the DX50 at all.....I have the chance to buy a pair and wondered how the sounded. I am looking at getting an amp as well so not too much of an issue if they would be better amped.
