That's why when my family or/and I went on holiday, my souvenir will usually be audio gears these days xD

I see plenty of Mixr here in Germany instead of Beyers and Senny's I wasn't impressed by B&O H6's sound

Good overview there, Cyclingbobe. Comparing headphones is a bit like having a multi-course meal. There is some rationale for "cleansing your palette" between listening sessions. I find that if I jump quickly from the DT1350 (for example) to the P7, the sort of cone shaped or slightly honky upper mids are evident. I've been doing a lot of that lately to discern the differences, which becomes quite comical as I get tangled up in all the wires. But if I give my ears a rest, or if I stick with the P7s for awhile, that specific characteristic becomes less noticeable (and actually starts to make sense in terms of revealing details). I'm sure the wizards at B&W sculpted the sound this way to achieve a particular flavor. Like hot pickled mango, at first it's like: What?! But now I love hot picked mango, just not all the time. My HP50s should be arriving today. The reviews make those sound more like "comfort food". I'll post my thoughts...

hahaha! you, my friend are truly an audio connoisseur. it's time for you to pull out your wallet & drop $400-$1000+ on a pair of headphones if you haven't already.
 
just don't talk like that about headphones in the company of normal people. they'll prob give you weird looks lol!!

I just posted this over on the HP50 vs. P7 thread; thought I'd go ahead and post it here as well:
 
OK, some first impressions. I just received a pair of the NAD VISO HP50s. I've had the B&W P7s for almost a month.
 
To me, they sound more alike than they sound different. The upper end on the P7s has a more aggressive "pointed" sound, whereas the NADs reveal an upper end that seems to be more embedded into the mix. However this range doesn't seem to be missing anything (I'm not sensing a huge roll-off). What really surprised me is that the bass seems more "bloated" than the P7s! I'll burn these for awhile and see if that changes, although I've read that these are good to go out-of-the-box. More listening to come, but right now I'm liking the treble better than the P7s; it's less aggressive but most certainly there. As to the mids, wow, they seem really close to me (as in, not über different from the "recessed" mids of the P7s).
 
As far as fit is concerned, it's kind of a toss up. I have no prob with the cushy headband on the NADs, but the ear cups share that munchkin size that so many cans seem to have adopted. They're reasonably soft but they don't go totally around my ears. Plus, my ears are touching the driver pad. I think I actually like the fit on the P7s more. They envelope my ears in a more circumaural manner, although my blasted "attached" earlobes are always problematic.
 
So, to recap on the NADs:
• The bass seems bloated.
• The treble seems to be more integrated with the mix (that's good!).
• The fit isn't perfect, cups are small and shallow.
 
I'll post again after more burning and listening.

I demoed the Monster Diamond Tears today... IT WAS AMAZING! Never though Monster take SQ this serious xD I find it better than Sennheiser Momentum for certain aspect. If I will have to choose in between these two, I will go for the Monster Diamond Tears. However, I much prefer the AKG K550 still over these two...

Can't you hear the horrible midrange timbre? The boxy closed sound? The unnatural slightly echoey decay? The mid-bass hump?
These are by far one of the worst value for money headphones I've heard in a while - heck, the new beats studio (in this review) are better than these.

Hmmm... The mid-bass and colored sound yes others not very much obvious to me... I didn't listen to it for that long though.

no hard feelings I hope - I remember posting about the diamond tears randomly on another occasion a while back and someone else blasted me about how great they were and that my cloth ears should have another listen.
I've given these quite a few auditions to make sure I wasn't being rash on my first bash/rant - if you still feel the same way after another audition I won't hold it against you - it being Christmas n' all...

Everyone has their own opinion since we have different ears xD The first time I heard the Momentum On-Ear, I though I prefer it over the original version but turns out, I find the original Momentum sound more refined.

booo!!!! what's wrong w/ you guys?!?! (lookin at you greq & billson!) someone disagreed with your impression of the headphones! UNACCEPTABLE. this can only be solved by a FIGHT-TO-THE-DEATH!!!!!
