So does anybody know if the VSD series is supposed to replace the existing models? I'm wondering if I should get a pair of 07s now while they're on sale, or just wait it out if they're going to be replaced in the near future. I was also looking into the VSD3's since they should be much cheaper, but not too many places here in Canada that sells Vsonic so I can't say if they'll be available domestically when they finally get released (the 07s on the other hand can be gotten here for $130 at the moment)

Yes, the VSD7 is replacing the GR07 from their spot in the line up but there is a carry over Classic model...

So, you can have a choice of both but the price difference would suggest the new model is a clear step up. Obviously, after all this while, I would hope so since the GR07 has been out for ages and Vsonic has promised higher ups for a long time.

Not really, but lendmeurears ships vsonic iems internationally for free and they have a warehouse in US, so usually few weeks after they have stock of certain vsonic model that model might be available for shipping straight from that warehouse. As far as pricing, I think it will be probably 10-15 bucks more than the price in China and if they do a launch sale like with the VSD1 it might be even closer to the Chinese MSRP for a few days.

They're still having a clearance sale on the gr07 mk2 and BE and they'll probably wait till they sell their entire stock. Not a bad deal given that the gr07 Classic for now is only available on ebay and bigbargainonline has the cheapest price, which with the shipping is only 5 bucks less than lendmeurears' price on gr07 mk2 and BE. While in comparison in China the gr07 Classic is 100 bucks and mk2 and BE are still close to 200 bucks.Even bigbargainonline is still selling mk2 and BE for $179.

well im still curious to how the vsd3 will sound and i really like the design of it too. on the other hand, im not a big fan of vsd1/s design and the use of comic sans lol
Any news on the GR07 successor? I see Lendmeurears is out of the GR07s now, which has me quite sad as I just got a loaner GR07 BE and I'm frankly in love with it...
