Hot damn. You should do the right side in white too...it looks so pristine, and the blue goes with it too.

Speaking of white:

Very nice in white!
I'm assuming you don't really plan on touching the bass ports anymore?

Note to self, don't post up your hand holding anything.

Sigh, already did black :l

I guess I could start over but I'm kinda lazy :l

And yeah, my hands are dried out from using acetone to correct mistakes :l

V: nah, set it and forget it lol. I don't intend to touch the bass dial. I like em closed

Idsynchrono, great job, pity black ports remain black but better not touch them. Lovely images mate, perhaps you should contact Dale since ASG faceplates in different colors is great idea, love it :)

Hey guys, question. Im real close to getting these, but am also looking at sm64. My favorite iems ive had are sm64, sm3, then asg1.2. I love quality bass, preferably sub bass, lush mids, detailed, lg sou.dstage, and airy treble. I had sm64 for brief yime but cant recall diferences fro sm3. So asg2 or sm64?? Anyone can compare these to either of the earsonics?

Or do i go earsonics now, and wait for revised version of asg with more subbass that im hearing rumoured? Thanks in advance.

Since I has some time to meself today :D

I had a go of it on a plethora of goodness, and threw in the BA200 on there cuz it's been lonely lately.

Capturing what I think is an ethereal quality of her vocals best were the Flat4 KURO and the BA200. The guitar award goes to the ASG-2, as well as general palpability, but the vocals were a bit warm and more dense than I thought was best for them. The 1p2 was killer on the cymbals but didn't quite do it for me on the vocals. The Piano Forte VIII was very colored but threw out a beautiful liquid performance of the vocals with an immersing quality, with the 1601 putting out a similar but colder and more even handed performance with a bit less liquidity. If I had to pick one that did the most things I thought worked well with this track, it would be the KURO.

Cute song with a very spacious sound in general.

Very nice, V.

It's funny because you have my holy trinity of phones. With the G2, Kuro, and Piano Forte, I'd be set for life.

Thanks!

I have a stack of loaners taller than... something tiny yet tall.

For anyone worried about their loaners... yours are at the top. :D

+1 to whoever mentioned the Rat Shack brand Auvio tips for the ASG-2.  Picked up the assorted pack for just under $9.00, they also sell sizes individually for $4.99 if you already know what you need.  I have been struggling with seal vs comfort and these solved the issue for me.

Oh really, that's mighty nice of you. Please send one pair of large Auvio tips to Crocodile Dundee, Australia.

Honestly though, if someone has a pair of large they can put in an envelope I would like to try them. Small and medium is no use to my gorilla canals.

I just helped a member get a few pairs. They come in sets of 2 pairs (4 individual tips) for $5 each. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=19103306

Any idea when you'll be sending back my LCD-3 that you have no recollection of me loaning you?

As soon as I can figure out how to get them off of their perch atop of a pair of FAD PF VIII that are standing end to end on the nose of a Mickey Mouse sculpture that I made from a Tralucent S/G cable... without touching it. There's a sign, "Do not touch the artwork." :frowning2:

Hmm, I will have to consider, this isn't something I can simply jump straight into. Let me think about it.

Trust me, they're the best tips I've used on the ASG-2. I even prefer them over the ortofons for comfort...something about the more bullet shape of the auvios vs the ortofons. Plus the bore is easily as wide as that of the G2, and the core is firm. There won't be much constriction of that tip.
