This makes me wonder if 1.21 with 2.0 would sound different from 1.11 with 2.0 installed. Because 1.21 and 1.11 sound noticeably different from each other. 1.11 is like a combination of 1.00 and 1.21 characteristics. :)

Try load 1.11 and then the listrid 2.0 firmware. So far that is my favorite. So much depth to the sound is amazing. The sound staging is so well rounded and 3D. With lots of bass to keep things from getting to dry. Good spacial ques, not too flat nor too airy. What I did though was load 1.11. Then do a factory reset (reset all settings, if you have playlists save them on the side and load them on after). Then I loaded the 2.0 firmware after.

Honestly I think so. I don't recall hearing this much depth to the sound. It just sound so well integrated for me. It takes what the 1Plus2 is great at (out of head frontal sound staging/imaging) and takes it even further.

lee, these are the 2 links I sent you via email. I am not sure which one you "liked" but I think you said the first in my email which is the Listrid 1.0 (see #1 above). Where is the 'Listrid 2.0' link you posted from?

I thought the firmware you gave me was the Listrid 2.0. The one I listed as Listrid 2.0 is from the first link in the email you send me.

Ok guys, after testing all the available combos with my Miracles (1.00, 1.11, 1,21, 1.11 + Listrid, 1.21 + Listrid), here are my findings:
 
  1. First and foremost, I SHOULD ONLY TRUST MY EARS as it appears I never agree with anyone :(
  2. I do not feel the various firmware are night and day. They are different, but not that different to my ears
  3. I find overall that the 1.21 is the cleanest and best sounding to my ears. It is by no means bass light to my ears so far, and the Miracles are certainly not bass heavy. It is much more airy than 1.00 which I found too dark / congested
  4. Sure, I haven't tried with my other phones yet, apart from the Kaede, but I REALLY do not understand the fuss about 1.00 vs. 1.21. Everyone was saying 1.00 was awesome and 1.21 was utter crap and I really do not hear like this
 
Of course I totally accept the following facts:
  1. People hear differently from me
  2. People have other iems
  3. My opinion will change with time
  4. I have been abducted my aliens, implanted an anal probe and am just repeating what they tell me to say so as to  support their plan to take over your minds through subliminal messages present on the 1.21
 
Nonetheless I feel this whole 1.21 v.s. 1.00 was a bit inflated / exagerated.

Personally Mimou I like 1.00 better than 1.21. It took away that natural and organic sound the AK120 had. Definitely went to the clinical side of things. Keep in mind I have the Studio V 3rd ANV which outclasses the AK120 in this aspect (airy, cold and analytical). 1.21 does not sound better for me in this area when compared to the Studio V. I don't need 2 DAPs that take a similar approach to sound. Still I feel 1.00 sounds better on the AK120 than 1.21 with my 1Plus2 on the gold cable. I really did not like the Kaede pairing so much on 1.11. Haven't tried them again with the Listrid patch applied. But the 1Plus2 is blowing me away on the 1.11 with Listrid patch applied. Also keep in mind Mimou that link I gave for Listrid 2.0 isn't actually Listrid 2.0 according to Burtomr. I thought it was. It's Listrid 1.0 I think. So try do the steps again with my downloads and let me know if your thoughts change. The first time you downloaded the firmware it was actually the 1.11 firmware (lol sorry you were right). Somehow the AK100 firmware was not dragged into the proper folder on dropbox. It's correct now.

For me 1.21 vs 1.00 is quite noticeable and in no way subtle. The approach from natural/organic to cold and analytical is quite different. Then again I'm a critical listener. I listen to enjoy music but at the same time I also critique faults. On a positive note if you prefer 1.21 well then that's works better for you anyways. Not everyone prefers 1.00 to 1.21. A big part of that includes synergy with gear as well as preference.

The Tera is organic, but not dark as 1.00 was...but that is just my taste. 1.11 sounds good too, I will try with Listrid 1.0.

When you load 1.11 try to do a full factory restore (reset all setting). Just save your playlists on the side first or you will lose them all :(. Then load the Listrid that I provided via dropbox. I sitll have to try it out on the Kaede to see how I like the pairing. Honestly nothing has really made me very happy with the Kaede other than my desktop :(. I still am curious to try the 2.0 firmware as well but I really like what I'm hearing now so not sure if I want to even try :P.

Ok I will check. Thanks. But a priori I am liking 1.11 + 1.0. Good balance between airiness and fullness.
