Spotted this new IEM with the Ocharaku tag.

Since I'm a big fan of the 4-Sui, I wonder how this IEM fares.

This is gonna be an interesting year, with me yet to try out the Kaede, waiting for the GR7007, and several other coming soon...

Anticipating!

No, no harm done. Glad for your info.

Well, before that, you have used the 4-Sui before?

Yeah. Tossing dice between To-Go 334, 4-Kaede, and PF IX.

Well, To-Go do spot a strong strength of removable cables. That's gonna be a problem for the long run as cables might snap some day if not careful.

Kaede... If it is the upgraded version of 4-SUi, then it'd be... Miracle!

PF IX is a strong contender for vocals.

Btw, is this Donguri the tornado version of IEM which Ocharaku has planned?

Im not that sure about the Donguri. But i heard from Shigzeo that Kaede corrects the weaknesses of the Sui.
I haven't tried the To GO 334 and the FADs.
But i sold my TG 111 recently.

The most apparent weakness that I felt in 4-SUi is the vocals sometimes sounds too distant.
It'd be great if 4-Kaede could correct that!

Jeepers...you guys are quick. Was given a CD too but I'm too tired to go through it now. This is still a prototype, target is to be on the low end in comparison to the Sui and Flat4 Maple :-

I'm like one of the biggest Flat4 fanatics on head-fi. I have the SUI and KAEDE, and while the latter is a gorgeous piece of kit that is definitely an upgrade in the materials department, I'm not so sure it's a big upgrade in terms of sound. In fact, it sounds quite similar to the SUI to my ears, main difference being slightly less glare up top and slightly more bass heft below. While I appreciate the better upper-end, I don't think the SUI needed anymore bass! The KAEDE can be a little overwhelming on certain tracks. But really, both are exquisite and beat the pants off of most other IEMs for me personally, especially in terms of refinement (no nasty resonance), detail extraction, and dynamics.

As for the Donguri, I hate to say it, but they kind of remind me of those awful Thinksound RAIN earphones on the outside, though I'm sure the craftsmanship is superior. Knowing Ocharaku, the engineering on the inside will result in a good sound too.
