Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones Part II

Lol my friends find my M50x weird cos it spaces better and stereo imaging is also better than most of their headphones.

Most likely they will die when they hear my grados and AKG K612 Pro which sound even better

Then don't do that.
Make them listen to the HE90 paired with Headamp Aristaeus.

Chances are, to my knowledge, some would prefer the ATM-M50x as after all, some just like more bass but yeah, I could imagine how they would like the Grados!

My friend asked me for the bassiest earphone I have, so I lent him the TekFusion TwinWoofer: http://www.innerfidelity.com/images/TekfusionTwinwoofers.pdf

Guess the reaction

You're close!

I'm all about that bass; 'bout that bass;
No treble.

I love that song personally!

  DANGIT.
I knew I should've said that.

His a guy who don't understand why I spend so much time with audio and he tried my XBA-4 he said its good but his Samsung earpiece sounds the same.

He's reaction to Tekfusion TwinWoofer was pretty surprising! ;
OMG BILL THIS THING IS GOOD! My dad searched up for top 20 headphones but its not there. Tell me more about earphone? Are there any better earphone than this? Can you bring it?

my parents are buying me a HD 800 cos im finalising some stuff for more review models from audio technica and Sony singapore, and i need a good reference, plus the fact i did well in exams and i also tend to critic things unknowingly

A - Junior, one headphones do not make a solid reference anchor for judging quality of sound. You can only COMPARE any other headphones to your good quality headphones, and make a RELATIVE assessments of sound. To do more than that you need more than one superior headphones, I'd say three of them. I would pick Beyerdynamic T1, Sennheiser HD800 and Stax, either SR009 or Omega II. With these headphones you can triangulate [average out from the three sound signatures] what an ideal headphones' sound is, at the current state of technology. Against this ideal you could attempt to make some absolute judgments on the sound of headphones which you are reviewing. Guys with a lot of audio experience, those who for years have listened to several high quality headphones do have, in their heads, some approximation of what a perfect headphones' sound signature is. At your age you need more than one pair of headphones to attempt to do the same.
B - You need reference audio tracks of various types of music.
C - Some, at least passive, musical training and basic knowledge of recorded music mixing and mastering.

TripBitShooter Are you planning to get a proper system to pair with the HD800s? Looking at your current gear you own, I'm a bit skeptical of your purchase.

That struck me right in the feels. I learned all of this the hard way. Even now I still have trouble describing sound properly (I can't really call up the right words at once).

As for the reference tracks, there isn't a standard reference track of everything, so reference tracks could very well just be your most-listened to music.

There is.  It's called the B34t5 Pr0.
Besterest headphone ever made.

I said reference track. Do you not understand? Or are you saying the Beats Pro is a song now?
Whatever you're trying to imply, your b34t5pr0 "trolling" is getting on my nerves.
