Hi, as the thread title suggests, this is the first time I'm looking for a decent pair of headphones. My budget is pretty tight, preferably in the $50 range, though I'd go as high as $75 if it's worth it. I'm looking for an IEM.

I wish I could tell you guys more, but I've read through many reviews on here and I'm not sure what a lot of the jargon means. I never really paid attention to the headphones I use, and I've had a Sony MDR-E10 for the past couple years. If it helps, I listen to pretty much all genres from Tom Waits, Captain Beefheart, Charley Patton, Nine Inch Nails, Chromatics, Tenacious D, The Rolling Stones, Mark Lanegan, Nick Cave, Notorious B.I.G., Johnny Cash, The White Stripes, Darc Mind, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, etc.

I guess for the most part I tend to focus on vocals, but I also like to listen to movie scores.

With my research, it looks like the MEElectronics A151 might be a good choice, but I've heard really good and some average things about it. I'd love to get some recommendations from you guys before I make a purchase. Feel free to ask me more questions to get a better idea of what I'm looking for. Thanks.

There are a couple people selling new or basically new ATH-CKN50 in the for sale section for around $50. I would be all over those if I didnt have the ATH-CKM500s already. They are suppose to be an improvement on my ATH-CKM500s which I love. I think they would be a great all arounder and are supposedly a great bang for your buck.

I can't find those anywhere except for ebay and other odd websites. Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll look into it.

Any other recommendations?

Its pretty new and hasnt been released in the US. Few other latest good bang for the buck IEMS you may want to look at Vsonic GR06, Vsonic GR02, Brainwavz R1 and the Sony MH1c.
