earphone better than westone4

i use my westone 4 for few yr but i think the treble and mid is just not smooth and forward for me , i have try shure535 , but it just not bassy enough , i thought about sm3 but it less bass than w4 , i used to listen classical, pop, some rock , and sound track(transformer) any other suggestions , portable headphone , i use imod and ibasso p4

The Westone 4 is an excellent earphone but I still prefer the SM3. Drier presentation, faster feeling treble with a tiny bit of sparkle, and bass like a dynamic.

thanks but actually why i want to change because i want to change cable also have any comment on gr10 i want to have it or hd25 would it be better than w4

(from memory) GR10 bass is same or slightly less than W4

I was in the same position as you are. I went to over-ears. Well, not quiet, but over-ears does perform better.

Any suggestion of portable headphones? i think custom great but i'm just young and the ears might change shape , i will not make a custom until 18

The upcoming ASG-2 might be worth considering.  It's out around the end of January I believe.

Jvc fxz200 is worth a look, it has a very rich sound not to mention a built in sub. basshead.gif

i have tried , But it a quite big and heavy for a iem , also sounds bass not tight enough and soundstage not big as w4
