Made it. A very nice group of folks. Amb was there with some really cool line array speakers, and a bunch of amps, sources, etc. Linux Works was there with a bunch of cool stuff, but it was kinda crowded at his table when I was there, so I don't know what most of it did. Nelson Pass was there with a neat rig, and put on a nice talk that I understood about 10% of. Siegfried Linkowitz was there with a really cool pair of speakers that look easy to build - the active crossover looked a bit more challenging. I have a few pics - I'll post when I have bit of time.
My takeaway is that the local DIY community is really nice and helpful, and that great sounding rigs can be as simple or complicated as one desires.
