no, the amp body is powder coated black only and the front panels can be other colors, typically black or silver

there are still some amps left for the batch that is being produced now

How much extra is it for the front panel 'other colors' option?

I'm actually afraid white wouldn't look as good as silver. Love the idea though.

Justin discusses costs in an earlier post in this thread. Roughly 200 for a color other than black / silver.

Definitely missed that then. I see where he told Solude they were anodized.

Found it. Very beginnings of this thread. Around $200 for a one off color. Thanks for making me do my hw.

I don't believe I'll be spending more than ~$2.5k on a DAC - there just doesn't seem to much justification for it based on other people's reviews.

I was fussed about DSD functionality, but not so much anymore, as you can always convert sources prior to playback if playing from a PC (like I'm planning to do).

My suggestion is never listen to those who never owned a high end DAC, all I can tell you is it's a night and day between a 2.5K DAC and a 10K DAC, with a quality amp like GS-X you'll never spend too much money on the source.

I agree with you for "never listen to those who never owned a high end DAC"....... However I believe source is the most important part in your audio chain by a rather large margin, and is why in my chain source was the hardest thing to decide on
