Hey, I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for something that's easy to drive, doesn't leak, and is warm and fun and musical yet well rounded, and an at least fairly good bass kick. I got the Maddogs but they where to cold and boring and not enough bass. I can't afford anything more then 300$ and I was sondering if these are a good choice I just need it to be pretty warm  adn musical and more bass then the MD's.

Since you didn't mention price:

1) Ultrasone Signature Pro
2) Audio Technica A900x

Seems the new Logitech UEs sound good too and have enough of the whole spectrum including bass..

And remember a slight bass emphasis is good, but otherwise a very good all around can that's detailed yet fun and warm and musical. Is that possible? Or does being that preclude it from even-handedness and good detail? It's hard to explain what i'm saying because I don't know all the audiophile lingo lol!

I would prefer under 300$

Well I don't think it's such a tall request. It's not like i'm asking for perfectly balanced sound while being fun and warm. Just "pretty" balanced, while being "pretty" warm. At least a fair bit more balanced then my old AIAIAI TMA-1's.

The title of the thread describes the HE500's imo. They are out of your budget but you may be able to get a HD650, they are warm and well rounded only they're not really upfront. The HD600's aren't as warm but a little more upfront.

And it is exactly that, just the title of the thread.  Read the original post.

I think the A900X that gelocks recommended fits pretty well. A little bit of bass emphasis--just a touch warm--with nice detail.  I don't know if I would describe it as "fun." I tend to think of fun headphones as being inaccurate, a lot more colored or having unusual soundstaging/imagine characteristics.  But the A900X is not clinical/analytical in sound. Worth demoing.

Yeah, the Senn's aren't easy to drive at all... Oh well, back to the drawing board.
