Should be around the same price as AD2000.

Certainly can understand that. Have you seen the W3000?

I have both the W5000 and the W3000! They're both very good headphones. W3000 sounds technically better in imaging and resolution I believe.

I'm curious if they keep the upfront mids/vocals of the AD2000 with the driver being further from the ears as the pads look much bigger on the AD2000x. Padding the pads on the AD2000 changed the sound to the worse for my opinion.

Intersted in knowing how it will compare to AD2000 (recently owned and loving it) .

Finally! They've finally updated the Air series. The AD900 felt like a dream on my head. The wing system just works a lot better than the closed Art series. I just hope the bass is SIGNIFICANTLY improved. I would describe the AD900 as having no bass (yes I know technically the bass was there, just 20db below the rest of the sound spectrum so you could never actually hear it

). Hopefully more bass than the Ma900 and I'm sold.

Also love the design. It's a bit hard to differentiate between the top and lower models but since I''ll theoretically be buying one of the lower models, it suits me fine :)

Edit: why'd they go for cheap plastic cables? They should've at least kept the metal jack from the previous models

No one has them so wouldn't know if they are easy to drive but if they are anything like the current AD line they aren't too difficult to drive but they respond well to better chains or at least the AD2k does. The comfort is just fine.

Seems like the AD2000X has the least change in exterior design compare to previous series and other sibilings.

Really can't wait to try them!

But it's the same loosy headband as W1000X/A1000/2000X , my AD2000 don't fall from at first movement i even can do some head banging , my gone A2000X a slight movement and it fall ...

The "loosy" wing at W1000X only for the earlier/previous year batch.

Start from 2012, all W1000Xs that I met already have a nice fit, looks like ATH listen what people complain about the old wing on them. (The design is still same, but ATH do something to them so they has better clamp on head)

Never test Ax000X series, so I don't know much about them
