Well...Just spent all day downloading these as well as the Bach Mahler set and Bach Leonhardt set.

Added so much music I have no idea how I'll get to all of it.

I hadn't bought mp3s from Amazon before this. I found out that they have a cloud player app for the iphone and ipad that lets you stream the music you buy there for free.

We could not process your order. The sale of MP3 Downloads is currently available only to US customers located in the United States.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

So how bad is amazon going to dislike me for getting this through a proxy? Anyone have any experience with that?

Just finished downloading. Along with the Big Bach, Big Mahler, Gustav Leonhardt, Sibelius, Dvorak, Saint Saens, Haydn, Brahms and Mendelssohn sets... It comes out to over 17 gigs of music. 7.2 Days worth. All for around fifty bucks. That's almost 200 CDs worth of music!

Still a bargain at 9. Especially since it would be in AAC 256 on iTunes, not MP3 256

I thought you didn't like stuff like this bigshot. I swear I posted something about Amazon's classical samplers in the past and you said something along the lines of only having spattering of works was not the way to listen to them. :) Turn over a new leaf?

I've still yet to listen in entirety the stuff I've already bought...the Rise of the Masters sampler, 99 Darkest Pieces, 99 Spring, 99 Wedding, Darkest Piano, and 50 Greatest (the last one by the London Philharmonic). :D It'll be a while before I've actually listened to all that I've found for a bargain.

Well, they aren't all great. A lot of them are excerpts from larger works, which is pretty useless. And some are lousy performances. But the sets by X5 Music Group designed around composers are all complete works and are culled from first class performances on the BIS label.
