FitEar F111 — Impressions, Reviews & Discussion (previously TO GO! 111)

I'm sorry for my bad English. Here is my little impressions of FitEar111. I've listened Fitear111 during the week and formed for myself opinion on these earphones. Let me just mention that I listened to on the extension, the Unique Melody Merlin and Etymotic ER4S.
The first impression was lifeless and dark sound, blowed midbass, the lowest bass missing, not enough highs.
In general, the sound is not tiring, you can listen to for a long time. By ETYMOTITS these headphones are irrelevant. Completely different  sound signature.
As for the price - extremely overrated. Etymotic ER4S still the best earphone in the world. If you want little single-driver iem for normal price - take a look at Myst Nail 1 or Nail 2

No comparisons between UM3X and F111? I was hoping to purchase one for my next purchase.

I've heard both. I'd say the F111 is better than the UM3X, but not hugely better. Clarity and soundstaging is a bit better. Less bass impact on the F111, but tighter and less bloom. Treble is much much better, the UM3X is quite dark. The mids aren't as forward as with the UM3X, but the clarity is fantastic. I like the F111 more than the UM3X, but the UM3X is quite nice too.

So does the F111 use the same green filter as the ER4S? I see one in the barrel... Can it be changed?

I'm truly baffled when I read comments like this.  IronLung's experience is so radically different than mine it hardly seems we can be listening to the same IEMs.  It doesn't seem like it's due to preference for sound signature, I wonder what accounts for the difference?

I recently had an analgous experience with the Frogbeats C4 customs, although in that case I was the one who found them severely lacking compared to what to me is the exceptionally good sound of the F111s.

I'm wondering what his source was. Not sure of the F111's impedance, but they seem sensitive enough that a high OI might affect them negatively. To my ears the F111 definitely has at least as much sub-bass as the ER4S, and it definitely has more mid-bass.

I am pretty sure that IronLung didn't get a good fit with the F111.

Thanks for answering. I'll ask Fitear and see what they say. It'd be fun to play with different filters.

I have tried different DAPs: ak100 (with RWA mod), dx100, hm-801 with gamecard, so I know what Im talking about. I dont like muddy midrange and bloated midbass.

I would not say that, because I used a lot of different tips.
Yesterday here was a meeting of the local fans of portable players and they independent of me came to the same conclusions. These earphones are absolutely not worth the money that they ask for. Now for myself, I make the following conclusion: the sound quality is not only dependent on the number of drivers, but also on the price of the device, ie price is not a guarantee of good sound. FitEar is perfectly demonstrated it.

@IronLung, well, your comment different than mine too, me and my friend has become fans of etymotic for long-long time. We bith agree that F111 is the perfect version of ER4 (PSB).
If F111 is not your taste, well, I think that is joyful for you, because you don't need to buy it...
Hahahaha...
