Superlux HD-662F or 669 for PRODUCING rock music? Which one is better?

Hi guys!

Which Superlux do you recommend for PRODUCING rock music, so monitoring instruments, editing music AND recording vocals without sound leaking? I was thinking about the 668B for a long time but than I realized that for clear vocal recordings a closed headphone would be a better choice. So I started to read about the 669, as it's basically considered to be the closed version of the 668B. But there are just a few reviews about it, and I couldn't decide.

Then I've read a lot about the 662F, because lot of people said it's THE perfect studio can with a budget price tag.

I simply cannot decide between the 662F and 669... please point out some differences!

I don't want to spend more money than the price of the 662F (34 Eur), and I definitely need CLOSED cans, so I would be thankful if you made my decision easier to choose BETWEEN this 2!

Thank you!!! :)

I cannot help you in the comparison but I can say that the 662 is very good. Actually I have the CAD mh310 but it is the same thing. This review might help.

Apparently Audiohipster uses the 662's in his recording studio, and not the 669 for that application.

Thanks guys, I've finally ordered a 662 F. It should be here in 1-2 days, so maybe after some burning-in I'm gonna post my first impressions here. :)

Good call for the $ it's hard to beat. I still use mine a fair bit.
