ok, i might have exaggerated a little, but im sure it wasnt a sufficient source.

OR, Lady Gaga sounds like **** no matter how much your equipment costs/thread!

i have her albums. They sound fine. a bit too messy and complex at times but the mastering is all right. i'd give it an 7.5/10 .....average is like 6/10. when it is just her singing with minimal background objects and some bass. the rank for me goes to 8.2/10  so not bad at all. (the rank is for mastering btw)

Didnt mean to offend bigsmile_face.gif

Im not one for the pop, per se.

However, they still didnt sound as they should. The amperiors did as they were coming from the same source and rather low impedance.

At CanJam@RMAF 2 years ago, Sennheiser was only using an iPod and a Boostaroo amp, so I would believe that they might use something insufficient. It wasn't the case in 2010 and 2011, but I was very disappointed in the people at that booth. Did they not know their own products?

Hey, that is absolutely not the case. They litterally had them go down into a booth. Like just headphones and cables poking out of a booth...

absolutely not the listening room pictured! ;)

it was identical to the amperior stand but with a hd700...

But stilL aa company that recognizes and audiophiles bring their demographics at these fairs. They should know that havig a visible amp and dac and what not lets the audiophile know heck yes. And so we wont go.... That sounded bad, was it an ipod with cheap amp? Their other pics show that they do this. They may not show care to normal consumers(not enough good amp and dac units for everything)

If my Best Buy did this, I'd probably melt in excitement. And if they added the LCD-2's to the line...

...a man can dream. :)

They had a dedicated listening room. I'm talking about the ones they left out for average joes to listen to some music.

The HD800's were for the average joes? o_0

What did they have in the listening room?
