The falling apart is on the older models (older batch).  Those problems have since been fixed.  Build quality is fine with the remote.  I use the HF2 and EtyKids 3 (android remote and iPhone remote, both work fine and are built fine :))

wow thanks man.  glad i asked.  been a while since i was obsessively keeping up with everything here.  im gonna pick a set up.  
 
the free UE3350s I got are dead and I need to do a cable swap on my iGrados and my ER4s dont really leave the house so I need something.
