WHY!

Biasing against other brands severely limits your options
22nm so it's cooler? No. I've bought the 3450 before,
https://www.dropbox.com/s/bkgkclaixgk8u9h/IMG_3122.JPG

Even with a Cooler Master aftermarket cooler in this case it full idled at 29C and in use was around 40C, it's TJmax or auto shut off is quite high but compared to an APU which is only $100 witha  dedicated on die GPU of which a cheap $20 aftermarket cooler got me an idle of 4C or 2C in a cooler room and better ventilated case.

You don't need the i5 3450 unless you're building a serious HTPC...and heck even then, AMD operton would probably even be a huge option. It doesn't take guts to serve an HTPC.

It was a suggestion. Calm down, sir. I even said in the post that downgrading the CPU was fine.

You asked for a secondary headphone, I said Q701, that's all you really missed from me :)

you don't need to, some people think that they should do that...no you dont :) You can just drop in with a episode impression or something! :)

AMD APU, that's all you need to worry about. The i3 Sandy Bridges can do it fine as well but for a cheap HTPC, AMD APU, nuff said. Dedicated on die graphics processor. And depending on the OS you run on the HTPC, you could have even 1GB of RAM if you run a super light weight one. For example, rasberry pi and other $30 micro controller/PC's can run 1080p just fine.

I doubt the raspberry pi could 10 bit lol considering the cell processor in the ps3 can't...
Unfortunately I already tried the q701, (not with female vocals) but there was really no "in your head" center channel per say, everything felt way out there. But that was with an e7 and now I have the o2... And they're only $180 used on Amazon. Tempting. No no the headband was also really uncomfortable on my giant head... Also sorry again for the double post.
I'll add something Asian related: I'm starting to watch elfen lied. I see the similarities to chobits so far but I hope the ending doesn't suck as bad as it did in chobits...

It really depends on the CPU and it's instructions and architecture and efficency and it's circuits. Not sure about 10 bit but it handle s"regular 1080p" just fine. Doing a regular HTCP would be fine
For example:
AMD APU $80-$100
4GB of RAM(or 8 if you want to also use it with a computer and do light gaming although 4 is fine) $30-$50
$50 "HTCP" case (keep quiet in mind when buying)
$40 400W PSU from Seasonic (quiet and reliable)
DVD drive that has good reviews(not feedback), ASUS, Liteon, Samsung are good buys, but like anything, some of their drives suck and some don't read reviews for a specific model drive that performs well. ($20-$30)
OS and Software--?
Decent HDD's in RAID (make sure mobo and other stuff and the drives controllers are good for it, some even though it says it supports it, sucks at doing it) Feedback on newegg actually matters, look for insane repeat problems. (an HTCP won't need an SSD at this low budget price range)
$60 Asrock(new generation), MSI, Gigabyte motherboard. You won't afford a good ASUS that is more reliable than what the 3 brands than give you at $60 Micro ATX or whatever custom mobo format you want to put in your case.

Tbh I don't use optical drives anymore, if I wanted to play physical media I'd just use ps3. And I already have a few spare hdds! Anyone tried bare bones kits off newegg? They're about $150 on average and have a psu, case (derp), cooler, and mobo.
That would make it about $300 all said and done!

The barebones on TigerDirect are more worth it in my opinion generally.
Barebones can get you a really cheap setup, only problem is reliability as they use no name PSU's and the cases are meh with meh hard drives and etc.

Not yet, I haven't finished Edelweiss yet, must get all of the CGs and get deeper in the story. The thing is that once you get through a first route, the next time you go for another route, the story actually starts at the middle. Kind of annoying because you must skip everything and then play for 3 to 4 hours to complete the route.

The story from each routes are all nice but I wish that the CGs were not that static but a bit more dynamic like more poses when they talk. It's kind of annoying to only read the text and only look at the the girl for a few seconds.

In Princess Waltz they do those REALLY GOOD. TIn Maji the characters "move" a lot more but it's just .....bad animatino as in inverting the picture or fliping it at a 90 degree angle into somebody's "arms" (that are still in the on waist poisition) and stuff. They don't "move" as much in Princess Waltz but it matches better :)
