I had the Pebble Time for a few weeks before selling it. It was a decent watch and I enjoyed having notifications visible without needing to be near my phone or remove it from my pocket. But in the end there just wasn't enough functionality to justify spending $170 on a watch with only limited access to the phone's OS. I want an Apple Watch but I do not want a first generation version. I'll probably get one of my own when the 2.0 is released.
I imagine Android users have a better experience with the Pebble devices than iOS users, thanks to the system access Pebble is given through stock apis and third-party software.
