Oh you Americans and your credit cards....here in Europe nobody has more than one of these. Don't even know why you folks need so many :|
Because some credit cards have rewards/bonuses/incentives to use it. Target for example gives you 5% back or something like that. Home Depot also offers a similar thing.
Then two years later someone steals all your info during a security breach around the holidays.
Yup, basically. Just like I opened a card with a department store where I buy a lot of my clothes because they offer $10 towards your next purchase for every $100 spent.
Lol better it be your credit card than debit so you don't end up running short of your own money, only borrowed money XD
Well my reasoning is pretty simple.
1: It's through my bank so I can view my balance on my bank account, savings, and card all at the same time.
2: They are offering a special $200 cash back when you spend $500 right now in the first three months, which should be easy.
3: 5% cash back on restaurants and gas over the summer, and then 5% back on Amazon in the winter.
Sounds good. Especially if it's from your bank.
But what about your other cards? Where did those come from and why do you still have them? Is this new one not enough?
Here in Europe people have a debit card and a credit card. No shenanigans like cheques. Credit cards are almost exclusively used for online shops that only accept credit cards.
Everything is a bit more simple (and streamlined?) here.
Yup, it will hopefully be pretty nice.
Well, there are a couple things about holding my old credit card. First, it would negatively affect my credit score to close the old card because it's the longest standing thing on my credit report. Second, I will keep using it because it has no foreign transaction fees so I can buy schiit from Japan without a ~3% charge.
Mostly everybody doesn't use checks here anymore. Unless you're me paying rent to my roommate. Lol.
Dude, when else do you do barbecues? It's totally the American way to bbq during the summer!
I've only heard and owned the m100 from v-moda, got it from Amazon used half the price of it new and still didn't like it. Oh well.
The senns amperior looks pretty decent especially the blue ones.
The Amperior would definately have worked.....if I wore a fedora, had a full beard, had Nintendo tattoos, and worked as a coffee barista..
Yeah, the M100s were a bit dissapointing from the sonic direction for the price it was. Definately not bad for the price, but nothing out of it. Above mediocre to mediocre comfortability. Nice build materials though
Who are you trying to impress with your fancy headphones?
Speaking of that, I was wearing my lambdas today working on homework and my roommate walks by and goes "nice headphones, are those from the '60s?" to which I said "Actually the '70s" and she asked if I had them "because they actually sounded good or if I was just hipster". XD
Got a new router today towards my place for the summer. (ASUS RT-AC66U) this is like a network geek's wet dream with all the settings, features, and granular control.
