Don't you have to be some kind of militant christian to get hired there?

No clue but my mum was Christian™ and got me the job. Pff, waited for me to turn 15 even tho I asked her sooner and she be getting my sis in at 14. Purchased xbox 360 and food with money I made.

Not if we would talk about predicate logic or something like this.

You know, quantifiers, variables, tautologies etc.

I was rather good at logic in university....

I was good at Fruendship™ in elementary...

Does anyone have any recommendations for a relatively inexpensive but good-performing soldering station? And what's a good way to practice soldering things? I always seem to screw up somewhere and I either get cold joints, poor wetting of the pads, and/or too much solder. I've always found it frustrating...

e.g. I had to attempt soldering the header pins of the C5D multiple times because the solder would never stick to the pad and pins and would just keep sticking to the iron

What are you using at the moment? Solder and soldering iron/station.

Something like this will be perfectly fine for pretty much all DIY audio tasks.

I just picked it up today. This feels really cheap compared to my older Weller station and it definitely has the "Made in China" smell. XD
I guess it's the performance that counts?

The cheap-plastic soldering iron holder doesn't seem very well-suited for a hot soldering iron. If the tip hits the ring of the holder, I think it's going to melt instantly. >.>
The temperature control box has a front panel made of plastic too, so if I pull out the soldering iron, the thing bends.

I don't believe I've seen a sponge this thin before either.

Which is way more useful in real life than predicate logic (even though you use predicate logic unconsciously all the time).

Twitch just got Google-fied.
Thanks for ruining my day.

I usually don't get fried chicken/nuggets from restaurants, so I don't have a solid list of restaurants, but at least Chick-fil-A uses real-ish chicken (always nice to hear considering today's era of cardboard/sponge mystery meat).

In Washington, there's a fried chicken restaurant called Ezel's and they have my #1 spot for fried chicken. Oprah Winfrey used to order chicken specifically from there and got it delivered to her. Jollibee is a nice alternative after my experience with them today. I can't say I know of any other chicken places though. :/

Is this Reimu from the Touhou series? JDS Labs seems to have a lot of customers who like anime. XD

saw the c5d on reddit and then discovered jds labs does laser engraving and had to jump on it. Results came out quite nice.

Cheers.

I had that with mine as well...you put it in water and it grows to a respectable...yet still thin...size

Yeah..im one of the few people out there that doesn't like Google. Half their products (read as all of them) are hall assed with mega bugs. Don't integrate well. And not to mention their UI - and how much it changes- is not to my liking

Not so sure about that....

You can't help but admire the truly sick mind that thought it up though.

So I guess my car is uglier than a genital wart to some people eyes.

Please do carry on.

Hey, I think it's a pretty cool car.

Ditto!

There's no mistaking it.

"in my eyes" means "for me" - they're the same thing.

The reason I like Saber is because she's so much like Lightning.

Doesn't "in my eyes" mean something more along the line of "I think"? Whatever, this thread really doesn't need any more stupid semantics discussions.

Should have figured....

Discussions on semantics! Yay!
Always incredibly unfruitful, but still somehow heated.

Like?

Very interesting stuff. Not the kind of "electronic" music I listen to normally, but not bad at all.
Listened to two of their other songs on Soundcloud. I guess I'll bookmark their page!

I'm more of a Lounge guy (if I happen to listen to electronic music, which tbh doesn't happen too often):

I like the stuff they play here: http://www.klassikradio.de/liveplayer.php?channel=lounge
