I'm currently juggling Mahouka and No Game No Life since NGNL only has one volume (after anime ends) translated so I want to savor it. May read volume 10 of Tokyo Ravens after then finish off the latest volume of Hanagai. I doubt Black Bullet translations will reach volume 5+ anytime soon so that isn't on my list.

Meh, I'll just read it anyways.

  LOL
I'm liking Akame quite a bit.. Kawaii~ :p

Hehe there will be plenty of those moments.

This.
Kind of sucks for her that she also likes Tatsumi and then Mein/Mine just comes along to "steal" him.

Not a huge fan of Taylor but this I do approve of.

Whaaaaaaa...googling it.

Wait what is that for real? <3

This.

Yup. Including the ahoge even.
biggrin.gif

WHAT.

Edit: The ahoge was photoshopped in, same w/ the ribbon. Her hairstyle is basically Saber's when she has her suit on (no blue ribbon in the hair) minus the ahoge. Her hair is normally pretty close normally.
And akagame ga kill. Not representive of the series. But nonetheless. Shows it will have stupid comedy

Stupid comedy works well to lighten the mood when it's a bit tense or dark in the series.

I agree with the statement at times. But on a personal scale, I don't like how Akame Ga Kill did it.

I found it more of a 'sell out' type. Wherein the author included it to make it more accessible to the largest targets (most of which prefer comedy and ecchi) as a way to also bring along the seriousness for the ride.

Life is hard, and you have to make compromises to feed yourself and your family. I get that Mr. Mangaka. But that doesn't mean I have to like it just because I understand what Mr. Mangaka is doing it for/as.

Only have seen a few series so far. Tokyo Ghoul, Aldnoah, and Akame Ga Kill. But so far, very mellow. These are 'good' series. But I barely feel the wind from the hype of it all.

All 3 currently either have lackluster execution, straight to the action and screw everything else templates, or slapstick comedy thrown in that are hurting them.

It's really what seperates Adult and legit Mature genres(ones that don't deal with sexual content that is) and series from the YA and TEEN ones.

I like anime. I like anime a lot. But I'm getting to the point in it in where the type of anime out there is dissapinting. Most of the nice synopsis and series I read about turn out to have major issues in them that Teens or YA's won't care about.  I don't know what I'm gonna do. But it's wearing me out too much. To be so hyped for a series and snyopsis that batters my soul, only to see it break apart by shonen tropes.

Hmm. So I just caught up with Tokyo Ghoul manga.

Hmm... I do wonder how much is gonna get cut out.
Is it gonna be a 24 ep anime? Or is it gonna do that wacky anime branching off from the manga storyline thing?

I already burned all of yesterday night by reading all of Akame Ga Kill. Not sure if I want to do the same for Tokyo Ghoul.

Well a dog thought it was a good idea to run into the road and do a quick 360 before standing still. The incoming Tahoe did not find this amusing, nor did I.

Well ish. At the moment it feels like they have more comrade vibes>romantic vibes. Mine's got the upper hand atm for sure but there are death flags EVERYWHERE.

Tokyo Ghoul is great translations are roughly up to where I suspect the anime will end, it's the end of the latest major arc. I would love it if the current arc was animated as well but it's probably not going to happen.

I agree with this statement to some extent, AGK does try to cater to variety of audiences, which would somewhat explain the hype considering it's covering such a wide fanbase.

Wow, sweet. That's a pretty awesome job too!

I guess my work paid off! Since the mini ITX motherboard didn't have even a single USB 3.0 header, I tried to solder some USB 2.0 extension cables to the rear connectors. It didn't work out very well, so I bought a $17 USB 3.0 PCI-e card off eBay that has an internal header to make the front panel connectors work.

This expansion card was badly designed, because the header is on the top of the card instead of below the Molex power connector. It even came with a half-height PCI slot panel, which would completely obscure the internal header.

Wow, well at least you got it to work! I'd love to get a MINI-ITX like that or smaller computer to replace my ancient seedbox rolling with a celeron 2.4 and 512MB of RAM, but considering I can get a Lenovo ThinkServer without a hdd for about $250 on sale, I think going mini ITX is pointless...

Hi everybody. I don't use this site much, but then i saw this thread . hopefully i will frequent this site :3 i love anime xD

Welcome! We go at godspeed so it'd be best to not try and keep up with us all the time.

Dayum, nice! I just watched the first episode last night and I can see what you mean, it definitely gives off some Saya vibes.
