If you paid for a product to get to you and it was 5+ days late (and still not at your doorstep) you'd be mad too...

Not to mention a $100 product 

The good news is you can now make sure you have nothing but higher bit rate songs or lossless to take maximum advantage of the sound quality when you get these .

On a more serious note. From your posts you are obviously a young person. Hopefully you don't have a huge collection of bass heavy music like dubstep or hip pop or you might be quite unhappy with your purchase. You also might find the tips tricky to insert properly which make their sound even worse. If you can not get the tri-flanges inserted properly and struggle with the included foam tips make sure you try Shure foam tips or Comply tips before deciding you have bought junk.

Actually I am...  If you paid money for two things, a service (so the product gets to you) and a product, then you'd expect the product on time...  Not a week late.  A week late is really unexcusable, especially with shipping.  He has a right to be unhappy, unsatisfied, even mad. Yes, patience is virtue...  However, when a certain company tells you to expect things in a week, you expect them in a week, not 2, 3, 4.  A week to late is a week of waiting.  Since some packages require signing, some people will stay home when they are expecting a package.  If it doesn't come, then they just wasted lots of time (I'm like this too). 
 
You need to see the argument from his end in order to understand the entire story.  You don't know what it's like to be someone else until you actually get into their boot-straps. 
 
I do agree with what dweaver said regarding music.  Although the HF2s were enough for me in regards to rap and pop, it normally isn't enough for anyone.  I would say (if you can get a good seal) it's the minimum tolerance for those genres. 

I got my HF5 just 2 wks back and I'm enjoying them. They're pretty pretty pretty gd for the price esp since isolation is impt for me. I need earphones for commuting.   The only thing which bugs me is my ear wax gets to the tiny tips opening easily and when that happens I can tell that sound is compromised and it's not so easy getting the wax out from a tiny hole when im in a bus or train.

That is actually what I have been doing. I decided that while I wait for my stuff to ship I re download all my stuff. so far I have 602 songs from 8 bands lol. All 320 kbps. All torrents. And no I dont listen to dubstep or hip hop at all. I bought these earbuds because I hate bass xD.  I mostly listen to stuff like rise against and breaking benjamin, chevelle etc. By the way, if anyone wants to explain in detail what this song will sound like with the etys that would be awesome.

Pick up a 75 ohm impedance adaptor for your HF5, you can find them on ebay for quite cheap.
