The one YOU like wins out by a large margin. Even though one review out of many stated he prefered the 4.A over his 8.A, that does not mean the result will be the same for every one. If anything it shows how different we enthusiasts are. I do not disregard the review as bullocks, as the reality is, both the 4.a has made a lot of people happy, and the 8.a has made a lot of people happy as well.
One of the things I have to do is keep the design disparity between the products large enough to justify their exsistance. If you look at the direction the IEMs were leading
1) 3.Ai Fun
2) 4.Ai Clinical'sh
3) Tzar 90 - High impedance - mixed bag approach, really can't say clinical or fun (neutral?)
4) Tzar 350 - Hyper clinical
It was time to return to powerful hard hitting sq, Much like when Mustang had a rash of low powered cars produced due to fuel costs etc. Once they felt it was time, the 5.0 was released, and people were very happy to see the return of "muscle" to a muscle car.
There were many requests for an 8.A IEM, the response whas and still is today, it could not be done due to housing size constraints. If the goal is to fit as many people as possible with a universal shell, then the goal is also to get the housing down as small as possible.
Any how, the 5.0 is a very fun product, I like it, but I can't say I like it over "X" IEM as I can not harm the sales of other products. All I can say is, they have their own design goals and fit their own niche. Ultimately I hope people purchase based on that, rather than what was just recently released. Then again if you have buckets of dosh, and you just want to taste the latest creation..... by all means.... contact us....we are here 24/7
