Received my 8.A today + 280$ of tax. I have to say that the build quality is excellent and the magnus cable looks very durable. It seems to fit deeper than my old triple.fi reshell, will need to get used to the fit.
The colour looks more wine red than the amber shown on heir order page but thats a minor issue. Enjoying my 8.A!

Come on, it isn't like they are doing hand pick stitching of lapels here.

They'd probably do it faster if it was just that. Have you ever made a custom in ear monitor ?

Not yet. But thinking about buying a 3d printer to try it out.

How would a 3d printer help make customs? I'm lost.... :/

Yes, it would be pretty hard to do wood inlay on a 3D printer.

wow, it looks very nice.
But what country are you in because the tax is too high to pay for a CIEM?

Thanks. Im in New Zealand. Well the tax was around 210 while UPS brockerage fees was about 70$. The total price is equivalent to the amount I paid for my Fostex TH900. My most expensive IEM ever but the quality and the sound totally make up for it :)

There are moments when I wish I was filthy rich. Because I just had an idea for some of the coolest CIEMs ever: Marble. Would probably be insanely difficult to work with but marble caps would be really, really cool. Something like a ghost black shell with a black marble with white veins for the cap.
