Fatigue, insomnia, and those damn mini-XLRs.  I had equally the most therapeutic and stressful cable job tonight while watching the Tribe Called Quest documentary.

I had read about how frustrating the soldering to those mini-XLR connectors can be, but I looked at the solder cups and was like "I've managed worse."  No, they suck.  The 4-pin is a nightmare.  They're tiny, they're close together, and because I'm not exactly fresh right now I completely goofed the pin numbering.  It's good now.  For a while, it wasn't.

QQ:  Why the hell am I on Head-Fi right now, it's not like I'm reading anything.

If I had any DIY skills I'd be right there with you. 2 out of 3 isn't bad though, right? :|

Ship date for my Girl With the Dragon Tattoo LE set was pushed back 2 months...on the day of the original ship date.

Ouch. I don't have my regular copy yet because I ordered it with the MLP DVD to get free shipping on Amazon, and they're holding everything to ship at the same time (the end of this month).

I constantly have to get up at 7am and go into work hours before my shift starts because the state of Texas won't let me drive (vision) and I have to get to work (via the ball and chain). 'Take a bus' you say. Sorry, public transport is an abortion here. This also means I have to wait up to 5 hours for her to get off of work until I get to go home after a shift.

This wouldn't be much of an issue but I have nothing to do as my netbook has a cracked screen and I don't have the scratch for my MB Pro yet...or a decent set of portable cans.

Oh yeah, QQ.

woah that's a lot of time. You don't have any portable phones and players lying around?

iPhone and some random stock buds for ~7 hours 2-3 times a week. Unfortunately I didn't think ahead about this and I'm going to remedy the situation soon, but it's a few more months of his first. Ugh.
