Anyone want to start an O2 (Objective 2) Amp PCB group buy?

Just wondering if anyone wants to start an O2 PCB group buy? The other overseas O2 PCB group buy in diyaudio has ended and I fear that there will not be enough left for the guys who requested it late. I've never done this before and therefore I'm clueless when it comes to ordering a custom PCB. I'm asking if someone in head-fi would like to take charge on this. Anyone?

For what it's worth, I'm looking at an O2 amp as well. Not looking to take the lead on this though as I'm new as well.

I'd buy in on one, but I don't have the time to manage a group buy.

FYI, if you want to do a group buy, you need permission from Jude.

Thanks for the info Currawong. It just proves that I'm inexperienced with this and therefore someone should take charge with the group buy.

I don't think there will be a shortage of pcbs, die wait till they are delivered and distributed, i think you'll probably find there will be some spare kits that people thought they had the time to make or skill to do but don't

That's a good point qusp, I was thinking about having a few made and selling the surplus but maybe it wouldn't speed things up that much...

yeah i'd wait and see, there were so many pcbs made that there is bound to be spares, or people wanting to get rid of surplus

I've looked around a little bit and haven't found any spare PCBs; the fact that I haven't found 'em may say more about my google skills than the lack of supply.  If someone does locate some, please let us know.

Also, I'd like to participate in any moderator-approved PCB group buy, should that come to pass.

That's the best news I've heard all day. I just bought the parts to build a JDS Cmoy, but I'm going to order one of those boards anyway, for when I have the time/money

Too bad I just need the kit only without the case, batteries or PS. Soldering will be done myself.

You could try to contact BlueFusion directly in the thread over at DIYAudio, maybe send him an email and he might be able to help with your request.

Please have a look in the thread here.
