Hey smeggy, are the pad really easy to change, because at the moment I'm not the richest person on earth so I probably won't get the O2 pads right away, but in the future...
UPDATE: FORM CREATED
Hello everyone. Several posts ago, I mentioned that I was in the process of creating a form for the purpose of collecting information from everyone. I'm am pleased to inform you that, in spite of some technical difficulties, the form has been created, and may be found here. If you're still interested in the group buy, please fill out the form at your earliest possible convenience. Once everyone has entered their info, we can see which three woods are most popular and proceed from there.
Best,
Brent

Question smeggy... I know it depends on where the wood's purchased, but wouldn't a block generally be enough for a bazillion cups? (Like 30) 15 headphones or so? Or is there a slight creation of error?
Jw...
btw, been drooling at your creation for the last year or so. Hats off to ya Gary!
Hi guys,
Here's a good place to study different types of wood http://www.edroman.com/customshop/wood/main.htm
My vote goes to a very black wood, like "AA grade Ebony" here http://www.exoticwood.biz/ebony.htm
I'll wait and see what kind of wood/material you guys go with.
If there is still a spot open, I'll take it. Will see where everyone is going with the choice of wood - would prefer one of the lighter colors but that is only a preference.
I'll go for high quality black ebony also. They use high grade ebony to make guitar and I think because of the hardness, it may sound good as a headphone cup/housing.
