11 New Sony BA IEMs

Yesterday I went into the Sony Style store, a rare high-end retail outlet in the Copley Square Plaza in Boston, and none of the sales associates had any idea about the new line :frowning2: I would be ashamed to work for Sony and not know that they were releasing 11 new pairs of headphones! They didn't have any of the new line in stock; in fact, as far as IEMs go, they had nothing exciting at all except the EX600...odd, no?

Typical electronic store salesmen I guess. I went to an audio shop in London which had plenty of high end Grados, Sennheisers and Audio Technicas for demo but yet they don't know anything about them. And every time I step into Carphone Warehouse, it is I who have to explain to the salesman how to work the phones for demo there

See that's sad to me! I worked at RadioShack for 9 months and made it my business to test all of the headphones and use as many of the cell phones as possible, compare with our competitors, always go into Best Buy to see their inventory; I didn't get much into the parts and little stuff, but I learned some stuff along the way.
 
Jobs at those stores should only go to people who are actually interested in the equipment...I'm sure there's enough of us out there :/

Probably has something to do with the fact that the XBA was just announced yesterday by the Asia-Pacific HQ in Singapore and will be sold in Asia first. I doubt the U.S. and E.U. offices have any news of it, left alone the sale rep.
