That was a good read and provided some much needed insight into a somewhat reclusive company. On a side note, I usually use my GR07s in transit; I am now using them in a quiet place with no background noise and I'm reminded why I bothered to have them recabled - they sound superb to this non-know-it-all with untrained ears

I believe the VSD3 and VSD5 are scheduled to be released this fall, and the VSD1 is already out, measured and reviewed...and seems like a steal for what it's selling for.  Add it in with the RE-400 as one of the best IEM deals under $100 currently.  The VSD7 I've heard is slated for next year, and there's talk of a GR07 'Classic' edition to be released with the discontinuing of the MKII and BE.  There's a bit of info over on the last few pages of the BE thread about it.
