I found a very interesting interview with the Vsonic, posted in June on a Spanish site, with pictures from their factory and production. Is there any rules against posting a link to it here? If people have not seen it before it's a very enlightening read and confirms their intentions moving forward.

Certainly there is nothing against posting the type of content that you mentioned.  I am not a mod here, but I used to be for over five years in Brazil's biggest forum about A&V.  From that experience I can tell that it is simply impossible (from an effort point of view) in a situation of trolling (which we had here in this thread) analyze post by post.  Usually you take the first post where the trolling begins and remove everything until the last one.  This can cause the situation that "valid" posts are being removed as well.  Just re-post your link, certainly interesting for everybody in this thread.

As a general recommendation:

That was a good read and provided some much needed insight into a somewhat reclusive company. On a side note, I usually use my GR07s in transit; I am now using them in a quiet place with no background noise and I'm reminded why I bothered to have them recabled - they sound superb to this non-know-it-all with untrained ears ;)

Yup, thanks stimer. Very interesting. Also interesting to read that Vsonic plans on getting into headphones soon as well. Cool.

I believe the VSD3 and VSD5 are scheduled to be released this fall, and the VSD1 is already out, measured and reviewed...and seems like a steal for what it's selling for.  Add it in with the RE-400 as one of the best IEM deals under $100 currently.  The VSD7 I've heard is slated for next year, and there's talk of a GR07 'Classic' edition to be released with the discontinuing of the MKII and BE.  There's a bit of info over on the last few pages of the BE thread about it.

LOL, way to stick it to HiFiMAN. It's like 7 minute abs is great until someone releases 6 minute abs.

That said, if there is no big difference between, the Classic and the MK2/BE models, then consider me interested.

Any info on what type of driver material the VSD-5/7 might employ?
