Why? Because the site is crammed so full of ads you'd think it was Superbowl Sunday everyday. We have a T1 line at work, and it's still runs like molasses. Headfi adopted the most commerical software possible and it has ruined coming here for many of us. It's utter garbage. Time to get back to the Steve Hoffman forum....

It's probably because of this damn Amazon.com widget that Head-Fi has placed on the site. It's driving me up a wall. Each page starts with the little mac icon spinning for 10 seconds while that damn animated widget ad loads.

Is Yahoo fast as well for you? The forum pulls a fair amount of generic script from Yahoo for some of the fancy features.

Head-Fi has been quite sluggish for me for a long time, I thought it was normal. lol
