I've always had a thing for the black smoke, but I have a feeling going for a blue left and purple right would make for less initial "which one is left/right?" every time I picked them up.

I have the black smoke and love 'em. The inside is engraved with an "L" and "R" if I ever get confused.

In real life, the color is a bit cooler than that, not so warm as the photo. The photo make it look a little more grainy and translucent than it really is. Hope that helps

I received notice that my refit shipped today, so I should have them by Tuesday.  I made sure to be very relaxed with the second set of impressions, making sure I didn't clinch or tighten my jaw.  Hopefully between that and everything else, this set fits well.
 
@SoundFreaq, I mentioned it in the ES5 thread but I really enjoyed your comparison.  Very well done.  I can appreciate write ups like that better than most, as I get a very clear picture how you hear both of them.  Sometimes reviewers try to be too technical or too non-biased and when I'm through reading, I know less about how the product sounds than when I started.

Just to tickle your ears a bit. I've tried IEMs that clipped/buzzed with this test track haha. I'm sure with the MG6 Pros it will only be your brain clipping.
