Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread

I have stretched it as hard as I could until my thumb feels pain, so I think this is as stretch I can do. It doesn't actually feel THAT uncomfortable considering that the earband and the earpad is pretty comfy, but somehow the pressure I'm getting really turned me off of using the HD600.

I don't know man. I've tried many different position and it all end up with the same pressure towards the bottom of my ear.

Dang.  I don't know.  They're my most comfortable headphones so far.  I had another brand of headphones that I put over a volleyball for a few days and that helped.  Stretch them over anything (a few books, a large beautiful woman's thigh, a thick box of gold and diamonds)

I guess I can do that. Will it be fine if I stretch them on the Sennheiser box for like a week or so? I'm gonna head back to my university dorm today and I'm planning to leave the HD600 that way until next weekend.

I'm a smoker here. I always saw a classified thread where people need to say that they are using their headphone in a non smoking environment. Will the smoke in some way will damage the driver or something(assuming I don't blow the smoke directly to the driver, of course)?

No, no damage.  People just prefer not to have any scent of smoke on merchandise.

(Q.  Do you smoke after sex? A. I don't know, I never looked...)

My last question is would you consider the HD 600 high fidelity or middle fidelity

HiFi

And that's from someone who also owns a T1, has owned a lot of other headphones including an RS1, HD700, SRH1840 etc, and has extensively demoed an HD800.

In this case, the price doesn't relate to the performance.  The HD600 are a true hidden diamond.

Be very careful about stretching them that way, as it doesn't take that much force to crack the headband.

TBH, I would advise not doing it.
