I thought that the end was in sight, but I see some sort of a symbol that looks like "R10" in the distance. Wonder what it means.

...the R10 at our recent Florida meet and was not impressed. I mean, maybe it was "meet conditions" plus a case of way-too-high expectations, but it really did nothing for me. In fact, Mike, knowing your general listening style (bolder, more dynamic), I can't see how you'd particularly like them, either. I heard them on Wayne's SDS Singlepower. I think we also stuck them into the MicroZOTL!

I hate to say it, but they simply bored me. They did not engage me emotionally at all.

Wow, Matt ... R-10's "not engaging"???

You, Mike, and I are going to have some fun when we have our mini meet one day soon. When I listened to Wayne's R-10's on the Singlepower SDS out of the Shanling T100, I was blown away! Biggest soundstage I ever heard from headphones, and very engaging to me.

Maybe it was material, maybe it is just different things that press our buttons, but I really liked them. I agree the Grado's are more up front sounding, and really get one's attention, but I think I would grow tired of them after a bit.

I love when we have different experiences, and can compare them - in fact, that was one of the great things going on at our meet at your place - many varying opinions, but very respectfull discussions of them, and great sharing of ideas and reactions.

Sorry to hijack your thread, Mike, but couldn't resist giving Matt a tweak
