What are the best-looking headphones out there?
 
I want to buy some to show off to my friends - I already have a pair of 7506's that I am very satisfied with, but they're not the most visually appealing. So I just want to buy a purely cosmetic pair that looks AMAZING. I don't care if they sound like crap. I'm willing to spend a lot of money, by the way.
 
I know, I'm materialistic, etc., but I really want some. I am already satisfied sound-wise, but I also want a pair that just looks like pure awesome.

The Q010-MDR1 aka Qualia 010s are extremely good looking, provided you are willing to wait over a year for one to crop up, and are willing to shell out the possibly ~$4000 pricetag (the market for these are very volatile, given their rarity and oop status)

I really think the LCD-2 (first batch with darker stain) are some of my favorite headphone looks of all time. Wood beats plastic/metal ANY day in my book.

That would be the AKG K-1000. Everything that needs to be there and nothing that doesn't.

The most radical headphone design produced and, arguably, the best of both headphones and speakers.

If only AKG has this kind of vision today....

No question it's the Sony Qualia 010 (blue's nice but the red's bolder!).  Of course, it also might be the most fragile (carbon fiber wasn't exactly the brightest idea).

By the way, it also comes with the best looking, most elegantly functional headphone stand in the world too.

the K1000 are the most hideous, dorky looking headphones ever (right after the Jecklin Floats).  you guys need to wake up from your head-fi dreamland and try looking in the mirror while wearing them!
