What does Head-Fi look like for a mod?

I would just like to say that I think that the mods/admins do a great job here. Thank all of you! (Brownie points! maybe I can get a cool title, like "The Brown Noser")

It can't be said enough, but these are unpaid volunteer positions. We don't get anything from Head-Fi and the sponsors and vendors don't give us anything. We do know a lot of vendors and manufacturers, and are friends, but it's hard not to when you go to meets and talk to people. Bu there's no quid pro quo.

We do this to help out, which seems a bit of a running theme in my life. At work, I get pulled into training people. Then there's a family business I do a lot of quasi-unpaid work for. It generates money, but we're putting 100% back into paying everything off, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades. It'll pay off, but not for a few more years.

So, while I'm sorta done with upgrading (I think) it's nice to hang around here and help out.

It seems like Head-Fi is pulling in a fair amount of money these days with all the sponsors and advertisements, plus contributors.  I think you guys should get paid for your time, even if a small amount.  If the owner(s) make(s) money, shouldn't the "employees" that allow the site to run smoothly also benefit?

I immediately regret my decision. Can I change it to something else? Hahahaha

EDIT: I'm actually okay with it. Upon further review, it makes me unique.
