What is the best portable line in recorder?

What do you think is the best portable line in recorder? I have to record (convert from LP and tape to digital) some vintage music, but the instrument is not with me, so I need one. Suggestions for other ways also welcome, but please know that I cannot carry anything bulky with me.

Do you mean something like the Sony PCM-D50? It's a pretty neat little device.

It might be a bit overkill for your use, and I'd imagine an E-MU 0202 and a computer would work just as well, albeit not as compact.

I use an iRiver H120. Probably the only DAP with line-in, optical in and optical out. Original firmware is a bit meh but it supports rockbox so it's all good. Quite hard to get these days though.
