One TWFK, one DTEC/3300, and One 8mm dynamic. There you go 5 drivers. Or i'm going to guess Two TWFK's, and the single dynamic. Either way, sounds interesting if it's true.

Haha, it is surely true.

The price point is suppose to be somewhat similar to the Miracle, even though we have not confirmed it yet. ~

Does this mean they have the capabilities of custom molding IE8's?  If so....FIRST!

Well, we already have the ability to remold dynamic drivers, but we are still experimenting how to do it in a best way to enhance your listening experience or keep it the same.

I think this may just be the future of customs...dynamic + armature.  And I have to say, I like it!

How is the isolation on the er-10 plus?

As a comparison, Future Sonics' Ear Monitors have a  user-variable vent and claim about 20 db isolation. BA acrylic shelled customs tend to claim 26 db.

Isolation isn't all that great.  I have asked if they can make the nozzle insert deeper into my ear canal, which might improve the isolation as I am not sure the poor isolation is due to the open back of the ear bud.  I hope to some day hear the UM and FS customs because the EP-10 Plus bass and space is spectacular!

I would imagine the UM isolates as much as the other UMs.

Thanks for that information....  Do you have any idea how long until something like that is finalized?  (sorry for getting off topic here)

Honestly speaking, I have no idea. Re-shelling service is more of a complimentary service that we provide to our customers rather than making money off it.
From my understanding, UM lab is trying their best to make good products (their own custom IEM's) so they can be a brand of its own rather than simply providing re-shelling services.
If they start re-shelling dynamic drivers, I will let you guys know.~

I just can`t wait to see how they would compromise between the isolation and the vents. It would truely be a marvel if they could somehow manage to achieve great isolation even against the strong wind while allowing feel of air vibrations at dbs we could not hear, say 10db.
Also, wonder when Merlin would be out.... if is already Feb and still no sign of release date.

I am very interested in these and how they implement it.  I am not sure what you mean about the feel of air vibrations, can you please elaborate?

And in the world of high end audio, things take lots of time!
