Not as good as the 600's unfortunately, but they were on sale.. AU$399 down to AU$299, so they fit my budget. The 600's really were that much better but they were also that much more expensive..

Anyone have a preference between the 575's and the 570's? The 570's had more balanced bass, the 575s have a bit too much. But the 570's just didn't sound as good in the upper registers for me.

Well, hopefully they'll keep me happy for a month while I travel.. I'll miss my Vifa BOOKSHELF SPEAKERS... hehe now I've offended you all!

I've been listening to them on my sansui amp at home, and the bass isn't as over-emphasised. I expect my discman to be even less that way, bloody duty free can't open it until I get past customs! I hope it works...

they're probably still breaking in. Oh, and whoever said that good headphones will be annoying in games, you were bloody right about that!! Luckily my amp has tone control, I just turned the treble down to -6 and it was fine...

Who? Not anybody here... we are recommending V6s for gaming all the time--those are good phones
