I recently purchased the monster turbine pro coppers and im using the foam super tips that came with it.. i believe im using the smallest ones the grey ones. Anyway i was looking for some tips and alot of people are recommending the tx-100 but when i went on comply's website it directs me to the tx-400 which i believe is  the newer one? has any one have any experience with the newer tx 400? do they sound alot better than my current ones? how long does the comply tx-400 usually last?

side question:
i guess i still need to pass that burn in period for these headphones but.. i cant really tell the bass on these headphones =/ does anyone know a good song i could use to test the bass so i could feel the thump in my ears =]. i tried using lady gaga's bad romance track cause i noticed my subwoofer.. thumping pretty hard while playing it so i figure it should work but.. i havent experience any type of bass..while listening to them on these headphones. im starting to feel like my headphones are defective.. lol but that cant be possible.. right? cause the bass, sound, and everything is all one part of the headphones.

sorry for being a noob =/
thank you

The tx400 is probably the correctly sized comply model. Maybe people just meant get the tx series. I have tx100 for my shures and there is no way those will fit the monster.

If you aren't getting bass with the monster then your fit is wrong. They are very powerful in the bass. You should try different tip sizes because when the seal is right the bass stands out.

hmm i tried on all the different sizes then i tested it with the track boom boom pow by black eyed peas. i cant seem to get that bass feel. During the times of the track when they go boom boom pow  i hear the sound boom boom but its missing that bass feel like from subwoofer it just sounds like a vocal (comparing it to the dr dre headphones) im going to order the tx-400  and hope that solves the problem with the bass.  i think its justs me cause.. the likely hood that my headphones are defective is pretty low since the sound works.. and the bass comes from the same mechanical part as where the sound is produce right?

No bass is almost always incorrect seal.

There should also be a pair of complys that came with them. A good idea to try them before getting new tips.

REad the manual on how to insert the hybrid tips.  No tip I have heard gives more bass than the gel hybrid tips.  Of course we are assuming you have genuine Coppers right.

Almost certainly the fit.

Unless you are thinking that you'll feel bass in your chest and whole body from an earphone.

You'll feel it in your ears. It's an earphone.

follow the instructions, you have to pull your ear to open the canal to allow a good seal. And if necessary do some twisting of the iem as you're inserting.

Well doubt it has to do with burn in becuz after burning in it tames the bass, less boominess... Should be your fit problem... Try using the white super tips, IMO it gives the most bass and a richer sound. I never liked comply tips since it kills the treble

You only have one gel hybrid tip and 2 white foam hybrids?  You are missing a lot of tips if thats the case.

Wait, this is getting confusing and I better fix it. I think what he actually meant was of all his tips he only has two white ones, one foam and one gel.  For a short period of time, all white tips were foam supertips, and all gel tips were black, regardless of size.  But he probably has the newer pack that are color coded according to size.

When I referred to white foam supertips, I only meant foam supertips.  All of mine are white, but likely yours are color coded according to size.  So the foam supertips work the best for me.  You should find the right size of the foam supertip that fits your ear.  It should go in snugly and form a sound tight seal so you can barely hear things around you.
