They sound pretty darn good though it. It certainly fully powers them. I noticed I get more impact and extension with this amp than my Roc, probably has something to do with tubes having a higher voltage swing.

We should meat up so you could take a listen on the amp .

Sounds great! ( but slightly risky

Edit: "risky" comment is from wallet...

Not to derail here but I got a question. I'm trying to find an extra balance control to hook up to it though. See my left ear is kinda odd, odd meaning I can't hear as much out of it as my right ear. I've been using my PC as a source recent;y and using the balance controls in Foobar200 to pitch it more to the left. You know of any you can hook up somehow?

I'm afraid I don't. I've seen some discussion of such things online here, and also a recommendation of some sort of fixed level attenuators that can be inserted inline that are inexpensive and don't hurt quality, but I don't remember where.

I find that the T1 sound very good with some electronic music and synthesized stuff as well.

Mine are special edition with no lettering on the grill, rather gold leaf imprinted  into the leather on the headband.

OK , I'm lying.  I didn't use flash, just 80 ISO in fairly low light with a cheap camera.

Here you can just barely see the lettering.

Ah, pretty tricky, those Germans. I've seen other photos where the name didn't show up, as well. It actually looks pretty cool without it.

Absolutely! Some electronic music can really show off the excellent bass extension.

I confess to being a fan of electronic music ever since first hearing Switched On Bach when I was in grade school (oops, I'm dating myself...)

I've been listening to a lot of metal on them recently, especially Opeth stuff. The more recent few albums have great mastering on them and really sound good on this headphone.

yes.  in particular, this shot of skylab's T1s had me scratching my head, until i realized that the appearance of the lettering was pretty trick to photograph...

Me? As odd as it sounds I prefer my WA3+ with them the most. It just drives them so much better.

Here's pictures of mine. I used the same image from the headphone pictures thread.
