Westone ES5 vs JH Audio JH16

Can someone please feel me in on the differences and pros and cons of each mentiones IEM. I am on the fence between the two and I have been through this struggle with universal fits. I am ready for some customs!!! I have a RSA Shadow amp to power the customs I decide on. After trying all the big name universial fits I decided to keep my Westone 3 but they do not really do it for me anymore. The guy at Westone said the new ES5 make the Westone 3 seem like an entry level IEM. Can't wait for your ideas!!!!

There were some impressions of the ES5 from Canjam posted.  Perhaps you can search them out.  The JH3A and ES5 were the talk of the town from what I read.  Sounded like the JH13/16 had lost some of their magic compared to those two.

I'm interested on upgrading to those 2 custom iems, but still cant pick one...lol
From my research, i found at that es5 is the best custom iem atm, but im not really sure cause i cant found anything about JH 16.lol
Hope someone will give us a good suggestion...

dspridgen, the Westone ES5 is just out so reviews are still rare. I have mine on order and will opine in due course but I won't be able to provide a comparison to the JH16s.
 
Here however is an detailed review from the Motion Picture Editor's Guild comparing the Westone ES5, UE18, JH 13, JH 16, ASC T1 and Ear Inc Z5. I think that you will find it interesting.

While the review was done primarilly with reference to music, the reviewer is a professional movie dialogue editor. He may be more sensitive to sibilance than most listeners.

Ok. I certainly didn't intend that the posting of the review would put anyone on edge - especally JH 13 owners since the review of the JH 13 was very positive. End of our discussion on my end. Enjoy your IEMs!

Thanks cooperpwc. There is a ton of reviews of the JH16 so i think i am gonna snag some. Dont tell anyone bt JH Audio is having a sale on the JH16. Check there facebook page for info.
