Ha yeah I think so. I remember taking it out of the car cd player and thought I was going crazy cause when I first opened it I could barely read it it was so dark, and now its light grey!!! I think it's heat sensitive. Anyways yet another great record from the guys. I was wondering if this one was gonna be any good, I keep thinking for some reason they "might" put out a crap album... I mean how good of a streak can you have? It's a good sign when a bad can put out top notch records for a decade.

I've been listening to the prelisten that all songs considered has been doing the past couple weeks and am definitely going out to pick it up (maybe on vinyl....hmmm).  But I agree, its a great record and sounds like they've really matured with the full band and their synth side.  Catch and Release seemed really hit and miss, but this sounds like the black keys have really been listening to some classic R&B and I can dig it to be sure.

Also gonna see these guys at Bonnaroo. Can't wait!

''Sinister Kid'', the stand out track on the album I would say. Every time I hear it I am sure that this is going to be the big sing-along in bars and places worldwide. Love the Keys since Chulahoma and the new one is in heavy rotation. 2010 topper!

Yeah I picked it up on vinyl last night (which included a copy of the cd, btw, so that was nice) and it sounds especially good on the record as apposed to the cd.  They talk a lot about their commitment to analog recording and it really shines through.

I haven't had a chance to listen to it just yet, but I'm hoping it can live up to the expectations that "The Big Come Up" and "Chulahoma".  Those albums were both absolutely fantastic.  Though it seems to be getting positive reviews, so maybe I shouldn't worry.

IMO the cd sound is quiet acceptable, the vinyl would be to warm for their sound..

I`d pick  "Unknown Brother" after a superficial explore..
