Recable DJH-1200

I have a set of marathon djh-1200, good enough headphones for what I'm doing with them.

I'm looking to recable them and was wondering if this cable was good enough...
25' 20-AWG Silver-Plated 2-Wire Twisted-Pair Teflon - eBay (item 230430872302 end time Mar-30-10 17:55:31 PDT)
Decided I'd use http://www.dealextreme.com/search.dx....heat%20shrink for the wrapping
Also any suggestions on 3.5 mm jack

20awg is too thick for headphone use, it will be heavy and stiff.
Heatshrink is not a good "wrapping" for the whole cable, look at techflex (I hate the stuff personally, some like it) or nylon multifilament (which I really like) from Cable Management and Wire Organizer Products from CableOrganizer.com. For 3.5mm, Neutrik NYS231BG is good, easy to work with and very cheap.

Yep that's the 3.5mm I was looking at, for the cable it's total 20awg, made up of 2, 28 awg wires. I see that people use 22 to 24 awg, and some are daring enough to use 18 awg. I'd use 2 strands of the twisted 20 awg, so 4, 28 awg wires total.
