Hi guys this is my first post. I have been addicted to this forum for two month now and my wallet seems to get thinner each passing day. I have already got myself an ety 4p and plan to get one iHP-120 once it's out. The desire just kept growing

Well now I am wondering how much money have you spend on audio equipments after joining this forum? Also do you regret coming here?

For me, I am glad to see so many people with same interest, willing to share their thought in reviewing / modding phones, cables, amps, to get that one ultimate sound. I appreciate more of the my music after coming here. Thank you all. I am one happy headfier.

Depends if you include where the disease has spread. It's had it's effects on my stereo, home theater, video recording (needed a better mic for sound quality

), computer, and now I'm even trying to make my own music. It's at least 5000-7000.

Q: Please describe your experience in head-fi with one word.

A: "OUCH!"

All my friends are saying "What?! You spent how much for a freaking headphone?!@!"

I'd say I spent well over $4,000 USD thus far. I still need to upgrade my BPT BP.Jr II Ultra power conditioner for $465 USD. I'll do so when I graduate next year.

Only $500. But that is because I already had the HD600 and a good soundcard before I came here.

I checked in at a grand. I think it is a little bit more than that.
I am kinda cheap, so I could have spent more. I should have spent more. I still need a good source, that will up the amount considerably if I ever get one.

Around $1000 or thereabouts (5 pair of headphones, three amps, a couple regulated power supplies).

I only feel lucky I happened to truly like the cans I ended up (see .sig for details), or the wallet drain would probably still be going full blast (not that it isn't practically empty as of now).

Mark me down for $5,000+.

Personally, I'm wondering how many folks could say $10,000+? I'll bet there are more than a few.

This place is evil...but I do love it so!!
