[Review] Audio Technica CK100 - TitaniYUM~! - Page 12

hi. I think I've decided to get these. as I was a fan of the CK10, but found the treble to get a bit harsh sometimes with a lot of my music on my iPod Touch 4th gen as source... I decided it was not worth keeping them.

I've read that the CK100 are super picky about source, going by ljokerl's huge comparisons... and was wondering if anyone could say anything about the iPod Touch 4th gen if it's considered a warm or a cold source? I haven't really got anything to compare it with.

I'm planning on upgrading to the next iPhone as soon as it is out though, as my previous iPhone is gone I have to use my iPod touch for now.

so basically, are iPhones / iPods in general similar to each other and if so are they considered cold/neutral or warm?

I am unfortunately not willing to get an amplifier... but if anyone could point me towards a warm but good source if the iPhone/iPod is not, then that would be nice! smily_headphones1.gif

thanks!
