I need to share a wmv video about 300MB in size with couple people around the country and world. How to do it? How to stream? download?

Dropbox works well. Once you've installed it, just drag whatever you want to share into the folder on your desktop and it will be automatically uploaded to their servers, where you can share it with other users for free, appearing in their Dropbox folder on their desktop automatically.

You can try transferbigfiles.com
Although if your connection is cutted halfway, you'll have to reupload all over again.

Mediafire.com free account let you upload 100mb file each. So you can archive your movie with a Winrar or 7zip, have the archive file splitted at every 100mb. Upload three times. Or cut the video into three.

You could try making a torrent and posting it on Pirate Bay.

PB is very unstable at the moment. btjunky.org would work better.
